This auction is for a used, but excellent condition, 2006 JAGUAR S-TYPE 3.0 equipped with the factory Premium Package. Never wrecked, always garaged. This very nice running sedan is equipped with the strong and refined Jaguar / Porsche / Ford designed 3.0 V-6 DOHC engine coupled to the superior "German built" ZF 6 speed automatic transmission. Same transmission as used in the 4.2 V8 engine for this car. This Jaguar is very refined and you will enjoy it !! The selling price is right !! From my experience, it is hard to surpass this powertrain combination. Quick (235hp) and fuel efficient ... around 20 mpg in City and mid-to-upper 20s on Highways. Jaguar recommends the use of premium fuel (91 octane), but it will operate perfectly on mid-grade (89 octane). Even regular fuel (87) is okay for short periods if the other is not available. This sleek "Cat" has approximately 69k miles and rides excellently with no body rust. Has always been serviced with full synthetic engine oil. Zero problems with engine or transmission. No engine / transmission codes displayed (as seen in the photo). No significant problems of any kind ... mechanical, electrical or glass. All power accessories operate as designed. The dual zone automatic climate control (A/C) is problem-free. I do not think the spare tire has ever been utilized and all jacking tools are stored in their compartment. The engine bay is clean ... looks very nice for a vehicle of its age. Please refer to the attached pictures for additional information and detail. THIS VEHICLE IS A RELIABLE DAILY DRIVER !! The title is "clear" with no liens ... I have it "in hand". No additional repairs are necessary. The "zircon blue metallic" paint looks very nice ... especially for its age. The "dove" leather interior is beautiful. Carpet (and mats) are free of problems. I have two keys plus a valet key ... need to have one key linked to the body control computer. The owners manual and a service manual on CD are included. I have the radio security code. The Y-speed rated, high performance tires are new. The 18" premium alloy wheels are new. The gloss graphite wheels look great with the zircon paint. The brakes (ceramic pads and rotors) on all wheels are new. Wiper blades are new. The engine air filter is a new K&N high performance re-useable type. I just changed the engine oil and filter (full synthetic) and its good for another 10k miles. I recently installed an AGM (absorbent glass mat) battery which typically lasts about twice the life of a standard lead-acid based automobile battery ... very vibration and temperature tolerant. Current NC vehicle inspection is valid. I also have several new OEM Jaguar oil filters and a new engine serpentine belt that will be included. The car is currently owned by a friend and I am listing it for her. However, I have serviced the vehicle and installed the new components and I know this Jag well. It is located in Asheville, NC and it can be shipped anywhere in the US, but the buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements. It is also listed in the local classifieds, so it may sell early. Please act promptly if you want this fine Jaguar. I can help you find a good shipper, but it is always good to shop around for brokers / shippers as the prices vary significantly ... in my experience, price is NOT always indicative of shipper quality or service. For example, I recently shipped a vehicle (without problems) from Idaho to North Carolina for $950 where others wanted $1500+. Please understand this Jaguar is not new and will not be perfect.
