UP FOR AUCTION: 1956 Merc Mild Custom perfect street cruiser! Runs and drives fine. Rebuilt 312 Merc Y Block 12 Volt system with alternator. 3 speed manual transmission with new clutch and floor shifter, new dual exhaust, new shocks, new tires on chrome 1955 Ford Rims and wide whites. New white headliner, seats are covered in burgundy Vinyl (see pics) in nice shape. Car seems to be pretty solid. Had some floor repair maybe in the 80's. Car has been nosed, decked, handles shaved & de-chromed. Bumpers are not good - need to be chromed. Grill is good, trunk floor is solid - no rust holes. Painted in PPG Satin Hotrod Black with Kandy burgundy metal flake roof. Again this car is ready to drive, wiring is fine, wipers work, brakes are fine and stops straight & drives straight.
