Hello and thanks for viewing our 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ. We obtained this truck from a local municipality where it was stored indoors since new and meticulously maintenanced. This truck was very lightly used and the person who used it , took care of the inside as if it were his own. No expense was spared on its upkeep and it shows. Inside and out this Jeep is super clean and beautiful. There is not rust or rot on the body and barely any surface rust underneath. This truck is rock solid and forIt's age it's in impeccable condition. The only thing that is not super shiny is the engine bay becuaseI do not believe in power washing and cleaning the engine, this Jeep has nothing to hide and with my experience power washing or hosing down the motor does more harm then it's worth. The engine starts right up with a quick turn of the key and doesn't blow any smoke out of the exhaust and runs strong and quiet with no ticks or taps. The transmission shifts through all its gears superSmooth and right on the mark. All fluids are recently changed and are clean and clear. The 4WD works great without any hesitation. All interior gadgets work 100% as they should and the air blows cold and the heat blows hot. There are no cracks in the glass and the paint is not dull or faded and shines bright and beautiful. There are no large dents or scratches (couldn't find any really). There are no orders in this truck becuase due to the fact it was municipality owned , no smoking and no pets were allowed, also the driver didn't pay for fuel so it was never run low. Tires are In good shape ,They have decent tread and have plenty of life left on them. The headliner is stain free and doesn't hang and has no tears. The seats all the way around look like they are brand new. Due to the fact this truck is equipped with the legendary 4.0 and has no rust, you can consider this a life long investment if you continue to take care of it. I personally have had cherokees with the 4.0 with well over 400k miles and it was running when I sold it. If you don't know about the 4.0 do some quick internet research or ask your mechanic. Car and driver magazine rated the Jeep 4.0 inline 6 as one of the top 3 engines that "Refuse to Die". These jeeps really are great and they are getting harder and harder to find. Throw in the fact that it has low mileage and no rust and your really talking rare. Whoever winds up with this truck will not be disappointed. This vehicle is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early at any time. If you would like to come see it , it is available pretty much 7 days a week upon appointment.
