I have had this car since April 2006 at 15,000 miles, prior to that it was with another family member. It has been garaged since September 2009 which was at approximately 77,500 miles. All previous mechanical work on vehicle has been performed at Ontario Volkswagen Dealership. MAKE OFFER! NEEDS TRANSMISSION. Transmission (automatic) is going out. Has not been driven since 6/30/2017 (except in our driveway for washing & moving about property). Rarely shifts into 5th. Last driven at 3,000 rpm at 50 mph. Someone that has a transmission that needs a car to go with it, may really want this car! Motor is going strong (per dealership mechanic). Last at the dealership on 6/9/2017 when advised the transmission should be replaced. At that time all gears were working, just occasional slippage. In photographs there maybe a consistent shadow smudge, this is from my camera. Cloth interior. There are spots on the cloth seats, all from water spills, no other liquid spills. When cleaning out the vehicle last month I noticed spots on the roof liner above where my 3 year old sits, it appears from an applesauce pouch explosion. Should come out with some Simple Green spray & a toothbrush or cloth, but I have not tried it yet.
