On behalf of a family member who is the original owner, we offer for auction a 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT with 9,153 original miles. The owner intended for this vehicle to receive an investment of time and resources so it could return to operational performance. The plan was to again make this their daily driver but recent demands on time make that goal unattainable. The Fiero is just beginning to become a collectible vehicle and the 1988 GT is the most desirable model. Of the 6,849 GTs produced in the 1988 model year, 3,050 were automatics and even fewer were in the burgundy exterior with tan leather interior color scheme which this vehicle sports. Having been non-operational since 1996 when the owner acquired a new vehicle more suitable to their personal and business needs, it has remained garaged ever since with the exception of about 2 years when extra storage space was needed. It is all original and offered 'As-Is' without any expressed or implied warranties. There are no scratches, scrapes, dings, dents or other exterior damage. The interior is like new except for a sag in the headliner due to adhesive deterioration over the course of 30 years.
