Enthusiast owned with a clean title ready for the new owner. Local car that has spent it's whole life here in the piedmont area of NC. Beige 1989 Volvo 245 wagon with the rare 5-speed manual transmission. 317k well cared for miles. No underbody rust and cosmetically the car looks great for its age. I've seen 30mpg on long highway trips. Power windows and locks, vinyl/leatherette interior with rare tan Volvo All-Weather mats. Lots of recent preventative maintenance to make the car 100% reliable. R134a Volvo conversion and A/C blows cold and heat is hot. Still has genuine Volvo door pockets and center console that are always trashed. Original CIBIE headlights not faded or yellowed. Chrome roof rack upgrade. Recently upgraded the alternator to a 740 100amp Denso unit with correct size Conti belts. Timing belt done at 292k by previous owner. Clutch and transmission feel excellent and I just changed the transmission fluid to a Royal Purple Syncromax synthetic. It has a full sized spare tire, full size rolling jack, and T handle lug wrench in the hatch compartment. I'm also including a fitted car cover, Bentley manual, and spare parts if buyer wants them. To be nearly 30 years old it shows and drives very well. It's not perfect, so please do not expect a showroom quality 240 for this price. Most notably clear coat flaking (dollar bill sized) spots on the roof and the front seats are splitting. Please message me with any questions or for more detailed pictures.
