Vehicle Detail
Important note about the mileageI upgraded the engine from a 600 to a 750, so this bike actually has 10k fewer miles than listed here. The mileage is from the original engine. OverviewIt's got a few scratches here and there, but this is a great starter bike for someone new, or someone looking for a fun hobby to pick up. I upgraded the engine from a 600 to a 750. This was my first bike, and I loved it. A lot of my friends said not to get a 750 as a first bike, but honestly, I got bored of a 600 within my first year of riding. It's the perfect balance between a lot of power and not too much weight - you can move this bike around easily. If you're looking for a bike that was built for speed and style, this is the right one. It does 0-60 in 3.2 seconds and it stands out. PaymentCashier's check or cash in person only. HistoryI dropped the bike once when I first started riding it and it scratched part of the frame. It's got some dings in various places - someone stole the bike and that's where it picked up some additional cosmetic dings. Functionally this bike is perfect. Perks- Built-in GPS tracker. Theft is a huge problem in San Francisco, so it's nice to have this. The bike was actually stolen twice in the 4 years of owning it, and I was able to recover it both times within hours. If you live in San Francisco, a GPS tracker is a must for motorcycles. I receive text messages any time the bike moves. It's a SPOT tracer ($100 value, I'll throw it in with the bike purchase). The membership is $100/year. It's paid for until April 2018, at which point it'll need renewed for $100 for an additional year.- Includes a kryptonite lock.- I added the foot pegs on so you can take the ladies out on this thing and it gets a LOT of attention.- I upgraded the exhaust to Yoshimura - top of the line $800 exhaust. Sounds incredible.- I upgraded the stock sprocket and chain to an X-Ring chain ($150 value)- Good maintenance history.- Clear title.- There was one recall for the brakes, and I took it in and got those fixed. Also for saleIf you're looking for other gear, happy to sell anything below at 35% off. Jacket: I've got a great Dainese D1 Leather jacket I bought for $800. It's a size 54. I'm 6'0", 180lbs with a 34 inch waistline, and it's a snug fit. Helmet: I've got a Bell helmet with a custom dark tinted cover. I believe I bought it for $400. Earbuds: I've used Shure 535SE (retails at $550) to listen to music and/or GPS on the road. They almost completely block out wind noise. I can still hear sirens, so it's not dangerous to wear them while driving. Boots: Sedici size 43 (US 10). Very sturdy. Bought for $120. Gloves: Fly FL-2. I think I got these for $80. Please contact me if you want more photos (high res) of everything including the "also for sale" stuff.
