VIN WDCYR49E63X142146 The Gelandewagen was originally designed by Mercedes Benz to be the ultimate in off road army vehicles. The trucks have been refined over the years, and has become the industry standard in luxury off-road weapon as well as the ultimate in on-road SUV’s. Mercedes has succeeded spectacularly in this area. The G500 is powered by a normally aspirated 5 liter V8 paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission. The hand-built 349 horsepower engine gives wonderful performance in propelling the 5,600 pound truck to 60 faster than anything this size has a right to! These are expensive and rare trucks designed to go many miles!! The truck on offer here is a high mileage ONE-OWNER 2003 Mercedes G500 “G-Wagon”. It has 192,600 miles, has been recently serviced and is in very nice condition. The Black Opal metallic paint is excellent as is the black leather interior, both bely the age of the truck. Do not be afraid of the mileage, this is a VERY nice truck and doesn’t look or drive as if its 14 years old and high mileage. Well serviced, the truck runs and drives as it should. The Black leather interior is in great condition, showing minimal wear. The carpets and headliner are nice as well. All interior panels are in fine shape and the rear seats have rarely been used. The power windows, power door locks, heated seats and all work properly; the climate control works as it should. There are a few minor issues, the steering wheel buttons show some wear (a common issue with these cars), but work as designed. The key does not operate the central locking (the central locking DOES work) and the drivers headrest and the sunroof are inoperative. This G-Wagon has a clean Carfax, many years and miles left in it and and can be bought for a fraction of the cost of a new one.
