Retiree, shop project just completed, on this 1976 model XL175. I stripped it to a bare frame, and refinished, repaired or replaced anything I found that needed attention thru the rebuild. It starts instantly, and runs and rides just fine. The body, engine (2-toned silver), wheel centers, and forks have all been refinished, in "expensive", Nason automotive, basecoat/clearcoat urethane paint. The color now is 1970 Mustang, Gulfstream Aqua blue, ahh yeahh! New parts include...tires and tubes, brakes, fork seals, fork stem upgraded to tapered brgs, headlight, battery, tune and service, and more. I put new controls on the handlebars, and I have the Headlight hi/lo working, along with the turn signals and speedometer light and tail light...but finally gave up on trying to get all the original lights functioning, ugh.... but that's another story, lol I have included a pic of the bike in its' original condition, before the rebuild. The starting price is what I have invested in it...so please, bid now and often! It's not perfect, but very nicely detailed and quiet...perfect for neighborhood or around the farm cruises with the sweetie!, hmmm? I (do not) have a title for it. Selling as-is, with no warranty. Delivery possible. I had only seen that it was mfg in 3-75, and in the opposite corner it says its' a 76 model.. I apologize for this mis-information. "note to self"... next time, wear your glasses, chk. lol
