LAST CHANCE AUCTION! This is your last chance to grab yourself a Rokon at a rock bottom price. Make me a reasonable offer! Rare and unusual Rokon MX340. Vintage Motocross racer. This bike has been stored in the back corner of my garage for the past 30 years so it is sorta like a Barn Find. Like any motor that has been in storage that long it is in need of some attention. The foam air filter has turned to dust so it will need to be replaced. The brake hydraulics will need some work. The tires are very old and have cracks in the sidewalls. All of these issues can easily be remedied by any competent mechanic. The good news... The Sachs motor turns over and the ignition works. I have managed to get some pops out of the engine and it even almost started one time! This bike always was kind of a bear to start. Not made any easier by having a rope pull starter. I wish it had a compression release. This bike IS very complete. This bike is not a basket case. It was a running and riding motorcycle when it was put into storage. There is some rust on the frame near the rear brake hydraulic reservoir and a few more small spots of rust elsewhere. As can be seen in the photos, not all of the plastic parts are original equipment. Certainly not the larger fuel tank. Also, I believe that these bikes had a plastic yellow air box that fit in the frame behind the carb. That is missing from this bike. I have seen these plastic parts as well as other parts for these bikes for sale on the internet. These motorcycles were built in New Hampshire in small a quantity. They do not come up for auction often. The time to buy one is when you see it! Don't let this one get away! All you watchers out there... make me an offer! Evidently all of those who have been watching me re-list this bike, dropping the price each time, are all a bunch of TROLLS. None had the juevos to make a bid. I am tired of it so this is the last time I will list this bike. If no one buys it this time I will keep it and either part it out or restore it and sell it for big bucks! The buyer is required to make a $500 deposit paid through PayPal within 48 hours of the auction close. The remainder must be paid by PayPal, cash or cashier's check within 14 days of the auction close and the motorcycle is to be picked up or shipped within 14 days of the auction close. I can coordinate with the buyer's shipper as necessary. This motorcycle is advertised for sale else where so if it sells before the end of the auction, the auction will be canceled and closed early. Disregard the Vehicle Title that is listed. No certificate of title is available. eBay requires that one of their selections for Type of Title be made to create the listing. There is no selection for No Title. Buyer will be given a bill of sale for the motorcycle. The buyer is responsible for pick up or arranging shipping of this item.
