Vehicle Detail

This bike started life as a 1982 CB750. As you can see, some changes have been made. The bike was fitted with a Ducati 748 swingarm, with the Marchesini wheel option for that bike. The front end is from a 2010 CBR600RR. With the addition of the two, you have far better brakes, and suspension that is tuneable. The subframe was built to accommodate the mono shock. A fiberglass seat was built to fit the subframe, along with house the electronics and Ballistic 8 cell LiOn battery under the cowl. It was fitted with a brand new wiring harness. The engine was rebuilt to factory spec. The stock CV carbs were removed, and a set if Murray's Carbs 4-2 Mikuni VM34 round slides were installed. Throttle response is crisp. The bike runs exceptionally well with them. The exhaust was replaced with a properly routed 4-2-1 Tri-Y header, with a Cone Engineering reverse cone megaphone. The bike sounds incredible. Rear set mounts were welded to the frame, and rear sets built for it. I have just installed a fresh set of rear sets, in black on the bike. Ignition cover, fluid reservoir caps, oil filler cap, and axle cap were turned out of billet 6061. Avon A56 tires. At rebuild, a new regulator, rectifier, and rotor were installed. So, brand new charging system. New Dyna coils were installed, along with ProCom Igniters, and a coil relay mod. The mod gives you juice directly from the battery to the coils. That results in better spark, better revs, and better cold starts. The bike was painted in Bahama Blue, with a Cobalt Blue flake. It sparkles in the sun. The paint isn't perfect. The bike was built to ride, and I ride it often. Bike was featured in Cafe Racer Magazine earlier this year. All in all, the bike is a blast to ride. It gets attention any where you take it. You can't stop without people coming up to talk to you. It runs well, it rides well. I wouldn't hesitate to hop on it and just go, and I do, just about every weekend. This is a one of a kind bike. Considerable time and money was spent to construct it, and it doesn't disappoint. Clean and clear title in my name. If you have any questions, please let me know. Bike stays at my shop, which is a commercial address, so no issue getting shippers with a big trailer in and out. This is a no reserve auction, if it gets a bid, it sales. Please make sure you have the funds to purchase before bidding. Have had a couple bids that have messaged asking me to cancel their bids.
