I bought this car in 2014 with 14,900 miles on it. It was branded salvage due to a flood claim. I had a buyers inspection performed and no evidence of any water was discovered. I have driven the car about 9,000 miles now, and it has not required any repairs whatsoever. At 17,000 miles I had all four rotors, pads, and tires replaced, and this Spring I replaced the starter battery. Other than that it has had two Mobil one oil and filter changes. Everything works perfectly on the car and it is a joy to drive and own. The only reason I am selling it is because I do not drive it enough (4,500 miles/year). It is as much fun just cruising around town as it is driving a 300 mile trip. There were very few options available on these SL550's because they came fully loaded. This one has the panoramic roof, sport suspension with height adjustment, paddle shift, heated and massage seats, Navigation, and so on. The only option is does not have is the air scarf neck heating. The color is stunning, not the common silver or black, but a metallic charcoal that is beautiful and rare.
