2000 Volkswagen Golf SOLD AS IS Selling my sister's Volkswagen Golf. She purchased it in 2004 with just over 40k miles. It was her first and only car up until three years ago and was maintained by our father, a professional mechanic, since her purchase. She regularly drove the car back and forth to Boston and St. Louis during her college days. Other than regular maintenance, we never had any problems with the car. Three years ago, my sister moved to New York and no longer needed a car. It has been parked in the driveway at my mother's house ever since. She has just over 100k miles and ran perfectly when parked. Other than for the peeling clear coat, she is in the same condition as then and should start right up with a new battery. However, as we have not tried to start the car, we are selling it AS IS.
