1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass S 442 with X-Code W-30 package. I'm selling this 442 for a friend. After research, I found that in 1972 only there were only 359 W-30 442's built, and even less than that were 4-speeds. Do the math. It's rare. This would be considered a time capsule. It's had only one repaint in its life. The interior is still very nice for original. The 455 Block is not the original, but the heads are the G.A.W-30 ones. This 500 mile fresh W-30 455 engine was built by BBT Racing in Memphis, TN. $7000 was spent on the build which was stroked to 488 ci roller. It's a factory 4 speed car with in-dash tach and original 8-track under the dash. New TA radials. Minor rust issues. You can see the 2 pix of rust, bottom of left front fender and top of left side wheel. No other rust spotted. Underneath is solid but undetailed original. Everything on the car works, and it drives excellently. I've never seen an Olds with this much torque. It's a BEAST! Has original POSI, original Hurst shifter is very tight. All this car needs is paint and body work and some detailing and will make an awesome, super rare car. I do not have the build sheet, but the X in the VIN states that it's a factory W-30.
