THE GOOD I am the original owner and have clear title with no leins. Car has great acceleration, because the IMA/electric assist is fully functional. Lifetime MPG is 69 MPG and can get up to 88 MPG or more when driving gently. Passed Pennsylvania inspection, including emissions. Inspection stickers are good until July 2018*. No frame damage. Drives and steers straight. Engine uses minimal oil. Good electric steering. Clean title because I am the original owner. Recently replaced: 8/2017 Just passed PA inspection. Replaced engine mount, new exhaust bolts and springs, rear wiper 5/2017 Replaced bumper with used OEM bumper. Repaired hood, headlights, front fenders, radiator frame and bumper cover.9/2015 New windshield 8/2015 New hybrid battery by Bumblebee Battery ($2,000) Replaced according to Honda maintenance schedule: Fluids: engine oil, brake fluid, coolant, hydraulic clutch fluid. Spark plugs, injectors, belt, McPheresen struts and shocks replaced at 100,000 miles. Electric windows and mirrors work fine.Tires pass inspection and are not bald. Comes with original maintenance records and full Honda repair manuals including electrical schematics. THE OPPORTUNITIES Car was totaled in 2017 due to another driver's fault. Insurance company gave the car back to me. I replaced the front bumper and re-enabled the seat belts. The air bags deployed and were not replaced because it would cost me at least $1,000 and the seat belts work fine. Still passes PA inspection. The fenders, hood, headlights and bumper cover and radiator frame were repaired (by either bending metal or thermal welding and glueing) to operational status but still have cracks, scratches and dings. This is why it has a salvage title: the insurance company would have paid more to repair it than it was worth. Part of the headliner is missing due to a ham radio experiment. AC is not working because evaporator was damaged and removed. The AC compressor probably needs to be replaced. Aftermarket AM/FM radio installed but not working. Carpet at drivers feet is worn through. The hood was repaired by removing several layers of inner skin and hammering out the damage from the inside. I couldn't get a perfect fit and it looks ugly, but the hood is operational. The lower engine fairing is not present, but it does not affect functionality. The passenger door plastic threshold trim missing. The Trip Odometer button does not work, but he FCD (Fuel Consumption Display) button works fine and functions like a trip odometer. The Maint Reqd reminder/dummy light cannot be extinguished, even though all maintenance was done. *The buyer is responsible for all inspections, tax, title and transportation fees at their own expense. The buyer is responsible for cost and performance of any enhanced safety inspections required for registration in their state due to a salvage title. Sold as-is, where-is with no warranty.
