Up for auction is a 1996 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 305hp 5.7 LT1 Engine with Ram Air Almost 148k miles as i drive it weekly17'' Factory Aluminum Rims that shine great with Good Tires Recently replaced in the last 1000 miles:McLeod Super Street Pro Clutch ($600 value) shifts SmoothPlugs,Wires and New Power Steering Pump and LinesReplaced both window motors and driver side window regulator, though driver side window needs to be adjusted slightly One of the studs on the front left wheel hub needs to be repaired.Need to figure why the bulb for check engine light does not come on. No check engine Codes last time i checked though.Cats were removed by previous owner, exhaust shop said it has a leak but is still pretty quiet in my opinion.Possible seal needs to be replaced near crank shaft sensor as a small amount of oil is present. One of the pop up head light motors make the typical GM noise but always pops up and down. Right headlight bulb needs to be realigned. Right side mirror button needs replacing. Cosmetically it need the shift boot bag replaced and could use paint on the hood.A strong running motor and smooth shifting trans with a heavy duty clutch is hard to find for a good price for a WS6. You may find a cheaper one but not with what I have put into it and knowing all the problems I have named up front.I would drive it across country without hesitation. I just have 3 coupes and need to get a 4 door in the future for my daughter. I can help arrange shipping and discuss possible drop off not too far from dmv area.
