This is an unrestored, original paint 1976 BMW R60/6. The bike has the 5.81 gal touring tank which was an option back in 1976, standard tank was 4.75 gal. Everything on this bike is original including the tool kit and the tire pump. The only exception are the tires, which are new. Also new is the maintenance free battery. As you can see from the pictures, the bike is in excellent condition considering it is 41 years old. The color “Monza Blue”, in my opinion, made the R60/6 the most beautiful bike of this particular series. The bike has electric start, and a 5-speed gear box. It is a number matching bike, frame and engine. Production of the R60/6 ran from 1973 to 1976. These were the last BMW bikes with front drum brakes.
