Probably one of the cleanest 53's in existence and its all Studebaker . I have had several of these over the years and this one is by far the neatest . The car when I got it had lived most of its life in the san jose area and so there was no rust NONE. Car was stripped and painted the 2 tone green ,all the stainless was straightened and polished and chrome redone and I added a very nice set of speedster side trim . All glass was removed and replaced including rubber and door seals . Door flipper one is nos and other was rebuilt . Trans had no reverse but motor has been rebuilt when I purchased the car so I installed a rebuilt 55 speedster dg250m 3 speed automatic way nicer for freeway speeds . Dash is original paint and all instruments .original radio was remove and updated with am/fm and usb port. Interior was completelyseats and door panels redone in carmel vinyl greyish green Carpets , . headliner, package tray and visors in a perforated off white vinyl . Car was converted to 12 volt and has power steering . I lowered the car 2 inches and it rolls on 17x8 and 17x 9 salt flats with toyo 215 50 and 245 50s in the rear. All lights ,gauges heater works as it should wiper motor needs to be swapped out but I have it. If your serious and have questions you can reach me at 206 499 9016 .
