LOW MILE NO RESERVE AUCTION. Several bidders requested new pictures and more information, please do not hesitate to call me with any other questions. I purchased this car in 2013 with 14,000 miles on it, and have enjoyed every minute of ownership. The A5 Cabriolet is a fabulous car that does everything in style. It has decent power while still delivering great gas mileage. The interior is luxurious and beautifully crafted and the top (which can be put up or down if you are traveling under 30 mph) is a work of art. It doesn't leak or create wind noise and you can't tell the car is a convertible until you pop the top back. The four wheel drive system is legendary Audi and will take you anywhere, no questions asked. This Audi has never had any body work performed to it and has two minor body imperfections. One is that the passenger side mirror was bumped in a parking lot and the plastic housing cracked and the directional light in it doesn't work. The second item is that the rear bumper has a couple of holes in it from a driver whose foot slipped off the brake a a red light, and the screws from her plate made holes in the plastic. Although both of these are an easy fix, they never bothered me, so I left them. The other negative is the Salvage title. I bought the car from an insurance company in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. It was in a house that the basement flooded, but the car never got wet at all, as it was in the garage on the main level. The owner insisted that the car be totaled because it was inside the house, and received slightly over $48,000 for it. I paid about $34,000 and have driven it over 30,000 miles and it has never required a repair. The car had to be inspected and a rebuilt title was issued by New York State. Most states do not require any further steps to register the car. I put new brakes and tires on at it at 35,000 miles. There are only two real downsides to this car: 1. It is not a midsize car. You cannot expect to use the back seats for long periods of time with large people. 2. The car handles and rides impeccably, but does so on a weird tire size (245/40ZR18). The low profile in this size makes this car a tire eater. They are not overly expensive ($600 for four), but you will be putting tires on every 15,000 to 20,000 miles. It has been detailed, and the oil and filter changed.The car is a beautiful, well engineered marvel. Like I said, great gas mileage, great power, handling, and tons of fun. If you win the auction and are not completely thrilled with the car when you see it and drive it, I will return your money to you right then.
