Vehicle Detail
This is an UNRESTORED original Jeep Cherokee S. Runs, shifts, stops excellent with under 90k miles. I'm selling because as you can see in the one photo - way too many jeeps and I very rarely drive this one. I'm setting this up with no reserve so bid to own! I have way more invested than the starting price - so don't bother to send an email asking if I'll take $5k PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AD BEFORE EMAILING QUESTIONS - the information is kind of random - THANK YOU! I shipped this jeep to northern Indiana from Idaho a few years ago - it was never driven in the winter here in Indiana! The Cherokee decals on the jeep I believe are the originals - it has a partial repaint some time ago with a little body work done in the rear quarter panels and maybe a few other spots - I've included pictures of both so you can see what it looks like. Due to the patina of the paint - I would guess the work was done 10+ years ago. This jeep could be used as a daily driver as is or is a perfect candidate for a complete restore if you want one that looks new. I personally purchased this jeep because of the originality of it. I was going to put on a 4" lift but keep the rest original. All of the seats were professionally recovered and look period correct and are in perfect condition. It also has a new tan colored headliner installed by the previous owner. I believe the carpet with the exception of the rear seat foot area is also the original and in decent condition for the age. the interior door panel material is all original but missing a few trim pieces on a couple of the doors. It has cruise and air - but I don't believe either works - never messed with it. Driver door window sweep was replaced but the rest need replacing if you plan on driving it daily. I only drove it on sunny days. Keep in mind this jeep is almost 40 years old - but has definitely been maintained over the years. I like when I see an ad that has good/bad points so - Good: Back window is power and it WORKS!! All original - including wheels and caps Runs/Drives/Shifts/Stops excellent Driver door window felts have been replaced(others need replaced as shown in pics) All glass is in good shape - no cracks Bad: Transmission pan drips oil and needs replaced Alternator bracket isn't correct and should be changed but works fine ignition will come out if you pull on it - but works fine speedometer jumps around a little - but works - I think you can take these out and put oil in them I would encourage anyone local who would like to see it - please contact me and we can setup a time to take it for a drive. Overall this is a nice jeep that needs an owner who has the time to give it the attention it deserves. It is advertised locally so I have the right to end the auction at any time due to a local sale. thank you -On Aug-08-17 at 12:51:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Due to a few requests I have added a YouTube video that gives a brief walk around so you can hear the engine running and a quick drive down the road. Please view it at: https://youtu.be/1uSS52Nzhss update: ignition doesn't pull out - it just pops out about a quarter inch - but like I said -works fine.
