This is a complete restore project. This car has been parked in a shed since 1988. I am the second owner. Engine appears to be stuck, did not try very hard to budge it. Has rust on lower fenders and door skins. Floor and trunk pans have surface rust but seem to be pretty solid. Rear bumper support is rusted through. Rockers and bottom of doors have surface rust. Had the car up on a hoist and frame held up just fine. Car was undercoated when new. Car has aftermarket twin sunroof that was put in by first owner. Interior is 95% there and the seats have good structure. Missing one flare and Firebird emblems because kids broke them off trying to steal them. Car rolls real easy but brakes are froze open so hard to stop. 400 ci. 4bbl. 4 speed manual. posi rearend.Not sure the gears, but car used to get 19 mpg rolling down the road. ( foot out of the 4bbl.) Numbers match, all original except sunroof.I lost original title but have state issued duplicate, lien free. From the info I have received the last 6 places on vin should all be numbers. That would make it 2w87s5n542876. The 8th place should be "5" instead of "s".I will contact state to see about getting it corrected and will do my best to provide an accurate title.I will update as soon as I have any info. They said it should have been a "5".Will have to work out this issue with the buyer.
