Up for auction is my sons white 2005 Nissan Frontier XE extended cab 4x2 pickup truck with a 6 foot bed. Currently the truck has 178,098 miles on it. The truck has a 2.5 liter in-line 4 cylinder with a 5-speed manual transmission. The truck has no power windows, power locks or power seats. The truck does have tilt wheel, sliding rear window and cruise control. Other than the radio and door speakers the truck is mostly stock without any mechanical or performance upgrades or modifications. A little history on this truck. The company I currently work for purchased the vehicle brand new from a Nissan dealership. I drove that truck for the company and personally for most of the truck's life. The truck has NOT been abused or driven hard. The truck has never been in an accident. I purchased the vehicle from the company about two years ago. I gave the truck to my son to drive the last year or so. Since he purchased another vehicle so we are now selling his truck. Currently the truck is registered and titled in the Raleigh, NC area. The truck has a clean and transferable title. So technically my son is the third owner but the truck has been used and drove by only one family. Most of the trucks mileage is from highway and interstate traveling. I did all of the necessary and routine maintenance on the truck myself. Being a very experienced mechanic I have worked on many Nissan vehicles over many years. The routine maintenance includes; oil changes & filters (synthetic oil), has a K & N air filter (cleaned & oiled), replaced the transmissions gear oil at least twice (synthetic oil), replaced the rear end gear oil at least twice (synthetic oil), replaced the brake fluid, replaced the antifreeze & thermostat, replaced the drive belt, replaced the front & rear brake pads & rotors a few times and a complete clutch kit was installed about 4 years ago or roughly 45,000 miles ago. Three months ago due to a check engine light being on, we replaced the rear O2 sensor and rear catalytic converter. Now there is no more check engine light or codes being reported. Three months ago we also replaced all four sets of brake pads and put on four brand new Goodyear Wrangler 235x75x15 tires on the truck. The rotors and calipers are still in great shape so we did not replace those. The air conditioning works great and cold. The truck starts right up and idles smooth. The truck shifts great without any issues. The clutch functions and engages smoothly. The engine, transmission, rear-end, steering and brakes do not have any leaks. The truck's undercarriage is free from rust as it has been in SC and NC its whole life. The truck is very clean inside with only minor normal wear. There are also no holes or major staining in the seats or the carpets. The only item on the truck that is bad or could use some work would be the paint in some spots. The paint is still the factory original paint. There are a few spots where the paint has come off, exposed the primer and has started showing a little rust. The areas where this has happened is on the A-pillars, the B-pillars by the side windows, top of both front fenders and a small spot on the roof above the windshield. These areas are mostly where the wind, rain and rocks beat up the paint from all the highway and interstate traveling. The remaining truck's paint is what anyone would expect from a used 12 year old vehicle. According to a local reputable paint shop it would cost about $700 - $800 dollars to repaint the whole truck. The truck comes with the truck box & key as shown in the pictures. For an 12 year old truck this vehicle is in great mechanical condition and good condition elsewhere factoring in the paint. We are selling this truck as is with no warranty or guarantee. I can guarantee the above statements are 100% correct. Vehicle pickup or delivery will be the buyers responsibility. According to KBB the truck's private party value is $4,270.00 (in fair condition) and $4,646.00 (in good condition). According to NADA Guides the truck's average trade-in value is $4,550.00 and if the truck was in rough condition $3,675.00.
