For Sale is a very clean 1973 Honda CL 350 with an original 6,677 miles. Clean TX title. The bike is essentially all original. I had new tires, a new chain, new points, new petcock and fuel hoses/filters, new spark plugs, new clutch cable, and new Mikuni VM carbs installed by Austin Moto Classics in 2011. I purchased the bike in 2011 from The Motorcycle Shop in San Antonio. I have a copy of the original title from 1974. The bike originated in Iowa and was kept in dry storage by a collector. He sold 4 of his '70s era bikes to The Motorcycle Shop, and I bought the CL350. It did not run, but was very clean. It now runs great. Starts right up. Compression is great. Idles perfectly. I have ridden the bike maybe 6 times in the past 4 years since I moved to Houston and have kept it garaged the entire time. Someone needs to enjoy it. Probably needs some minor fine tuning to get it running perfectly. What is wrong with this bike/ what does it need to run perfectly? 1) Troubleshoot and fix rear brake light - my guess is a bad connection or switch at the brake lever......cheap fix. 2) Blinkers occasionally do not engage. Short or bad connection....cheap fix. 3) Clutch needs proper adjustment or possibly replacement.....$120 in parts if replacement needed. ~2 hours labor. 4) Start/stop kill switch has never worked....cheap fix. It comes with original manual and toolkit. Original paint. Perfect gas tank. Original seat. There is some very,very minor surface rust on the wheels. All the chrome looks great, though. Non-refundable deposit should be made within 48 hours.
