1968 Pontiac Catalina convertible with Pontiac 400 cid engine, 3 speed automatic, power steering, am radio. Engine casting #9790071. Engine date code, J097. Vehicle needs restoration. Engine runs when pouring gas into carburetor, I disconnected the fuel line, in case theres sediment in fuel tank. Transmission has not been tested, {3 speed Turbo-Hydramatic 400}, but trans fluid is at full level and clean. Tires hold air, but not roadworthy. Missing hubcaps, fuel filters, interior door lock knobs, one radio knob ,both front fender side trim, one rocker trim, and one or more window crank handles. Some rust around rear wheel wells, small rust holes in trunk. Front bumper has a dent on right front side, rear 1/4 panel has a dent above side marker lamp. Rear bumper has damage and does not appear to be restorable. Interior was redone at one time, door panels and dash pad were covered, with original material under the newer vinyl. Tilt steering mechanism is damaged, but car is steerable. Convertible top fabric needs to be replaced, car has been stored under a carport since around the 1990's. Car has all 5 original wheels, owners manual and protection plan book, {rough}, original jack, see pic of inside trunk. Some loose parts in trunk .Car comes with title and keys. This vehicle has been relisted because ted davis {teddyd16} was the "high" bidder, but failed to contact me after auction. Floor pan at drivers area has small rust hole, will need a patch, but not a full pan replacement.
