As a long time BMW collector, I've always loved "boxer" motors and these last three years I've enjoyed modifying this Honda as a "Bobber". Description:It started life as a "naked" GL1000. Motor is a stock 1,000cc 4 cylinders that runs as it should after a full maintenance including rebuilding all four carburetors and refurbishing the gas tank. A new battery was just recently installed and the tires are like new.It starts, runs and rides as a stock Glowing and sport a new deep black paint job with some special side covers with subtle blue flames and Japanese script that phonetically spell out: "F..k you". The custom modifications were all done so that it can be easily retrofitted to original and include:A custom lengthened new leather seat and matching tank cover.Dual "Conti" style exhaust. (Throaty but not loud)New abbreviated tail light and license plate assembly.Discrete, very bright LED rear turn signals.New Cafe Racer handle bars and rear view mirrors.New headlight replacement with incorporated turn signals.Although most people would still recognize it as a Honda, it has been "de-badged" and cleaned up with an abbreviated front and rear fender. Notes:Comes with a clear California title in my name and tags are paid until 2017.
