Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1976 912E. I drove this car in college 2006-08 and loved it! We couldn't get the car to idle right and the clutch was not releasing properly. We pulled the motor to service the clutch and found the release bearing was worn. Sense it was already out I had the bright idea to rebuild it.We took it completely apart and it was fun .....then life happened and we didn't get it put back together. The crank shaft has been polished and one main bearing put on (the rest are in a box) there are 4 new pistons and sleeves. The motor is NOT ORIGINAL. It is a 2.0 Liter, 914 motor The driver and passenger side doors are missing the little lever that you pull to open the door. The plastic door handle pull on the insides are broken but can still be opened and closed. The driver side door has some damage from opening too far but still opens and closes properly. If you click BUY IT NOW you must put down a $500 deposit within 24 hrs via PayPal. Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping and costs!!! Buyer has 14 days to pick up car.....(Unless buyer and seller come to a different arrangement) The car is located near southeast Raleigh NC. This car is sold as-is with a CLEAN NC TITLE!! Absolutely no returns or refunds!! On Jul-02-17 at 11:28:12 PDT, seller added the following information: I have the original 911S/912E Owners Manual I have the face plate for the radio its an older Alpine tape deck ( was working last time I drove the car) Bronze Valve guides new but uninstalled and valves have been ground The tires are Goodyear Eagle GT P195/60/60R15 and have even wear with 90%+ tread left. There are two cams and two oil pumps because one came from the Porsche and one came from my 72 VW Bus. I am not sure which one goes to the Porsche so I'm including both. My builder advised me to replace the cams and lifters with hydraulic ones, and to replace the oil pump. Full payment required in 7 days, 3 days is tough for the buyers outside the US.
