Time to make room in the man cave and clear out some of my collection. Make sure to check out some of my other motorcycles for sale. This bike is part of my GS collection and is a great representative of the 1100 series.I especially like the early 1995 for only the first few manufactured had a plastic tank that, without the rib, is much prettier than the latter ones and makes it the lightest "Oil head" GS beside the HP2 Enduro. Description: 1995 BMW R1100GS with approximately 62,000 miles, painted "Titan Silver Metallic", (originally Alpine White) complete with books and tools.It is equipped from the factory with ABS brakes and heated grips.The bike is mechanically completely stock and has been tastefully modified.A set of "Work Performance" shocks (rated at 225-275 lbs.) were installed at 47K miles and varied accessories improve drivability.A "Wunderlich" seat makes the ride more enjoyable. It starts, runs and ride impeccably with all gauges, electrical components and accessories operating as they should. Comes with a clear California title and tags are paid until September 2017. History: In order to complete my BMW GS collection, I purchased this motorcycle from a good friend of mine last year when he decided to upgrade to a GS Adventure.I was present in 2013 when, at my suggestion, he purchased the bike from the long time original owner, also a friend of mine. It was maintained by BMW dealers during its warranty and by one of the best independent in Venice, CA since then. A full service was performed last Memorial Weekend including a change of all fluids, a new battery and a new clutch. Notes: This is an honest two owners GS that was carefully maintained and operated by mature aficionados.It has some minor scratches (see photo) but is ready to hit the road.Please no cashier's check, money transfers or associated convoluted transactions.PayPal is acceptable but obviously cash is preferred.
