Vehicle Detail

VERY NICE R75 toaster. Granada Red ....my favorite color of all BMWs. Matching numbers and built 1/72- SWB Has vintage looks but tastefully upgraded and refreshed. Great original bike with one minor exception ....I removed and repainted the rear swingarm as it had some battery acid spill on it from previous owner and it destroyed paint and created some surface rust. Current battery is sealed so no more mess! Tank is clean inside and has original primer. I sourced the little bikini fairing ... I just wanted to make it look a bit different from all the other toasters....it can be removed with two bolts if it isn't your style. Recent rebuild to front forks, new shock gators, seat rebuilt and very comfortable. New cables where needed and new grips. I am NOT including these Krauser bags but will include another set I have. These are going to a R90S project and I want to hang onto them. The others are very good bags as well but have some outside wear (good hinges and clean) they are just a bit more used and older looking. You could paint them if you want them to be super fresh. I prefer the old look so I left them original. If you don't want them at all I will be happy to hang onto them. I just like the look of the bike with them on it. Tank has a couple of /dings/flaws {left side-high}and shows some age but the color is just too good to mess with it. See pics. Fenders are solid and no cracks. I do have a backrest if you want it and there should be one picture showing backrest on the bike. I set this up for my wife and I to ride (she will not ride without a backrest). She never wants to come along so I took it off. I have changed out all the fluids and it starts and runs great. Tires are fair...certainly able to use but starting showing their age. Right side head will drip a couple of drops after a ride. Not sure if it is valve cover gasket or pushrod/seal but not significant. Pipes are near perfect with one tiny ding. It is a 45 year old bike so expect some imperfections....personally that is what I like about it. It looks used but loved! It always gets compliments whenever I take it out for a ride. I travel frequently to OHIO for work (Cincinnati area) and would be happy to bring it along for purchaser to meet me at my plant and pick up mid week. We can work out dates but I am usually up there every 3 weeks or so. I do require full payment before I carry it that far. Happy to save you the miles if it works out better for you. I will also be in Chicago mid JULY and would carry then at no charge under the same terms..... Non refundable deposit of $300 at the end of the auction....not 2 days later but the end of the auction. I do this so I know you are a serious buyer and I am not having to chase down the dreamers.... Cash payment at pickup or you can work with a shipper and I will need to clear payment prior to shipping. Pick up needed within 2-3 weeks. YES I have a clear and open title in my name. Thanks for looking and good luck on this classic.
