I am moving into the mountains and there is no space for this beloved Karmann Ghia. Therefore I am listing her at NO RESERVE so that she can live on with her new owners. I traded my sailboat for this and its really sad to see her go, its been a blast to drive around town in. The classic color combination and this specific style, you just don't see on the road and she is a head turner! Ghia literally get comments of euphoria, awe, or curiosity every time I take her out. This Ghia has the 1600cc air cooled, solex carberated engine mated to a 4 speed manual transmission. The engine was completely rebuilt October, 2016 and has most of the basic components replaced since then including: starter, starter soleniod, battery, ignition coil, spark plug wires. It has a salvaged title and has had bodywork. It is currently registered in California and is emissions exempt, being a classic. The car handles like on rails, suspension is tight and the rubber looks to be ok (+/- 5 years) starts right up (almost every time), stops ok, new front brakes (new rear brake components still need installed).
