Up for auction is a 2004 Audi A4 1.8 Turbo Sedan. This vehicle was seized by the Clarendon Hills Police Department following an arrest in May 2015 and has been parked in our impound lot ever since. It was being driven at the time of seizure. The vehicle is in good/very good condition overall as has very low mileage for the year. The battery has been replaced with a brand new one just prior to auction. The vehicle starts right up, runs and drives well. The transmission and clutch operate smoothly. That being said, this vehicle was seized and we have no knowledge as to the maintenance history or any mechanical issues. The tires have developed flat spots from sitting for an extended period of time and seem to wobble or be out of balance. The brakes may also need to be serviced. Also, the A/C does not blow cold. There is one key fob, however the doors need to be locked/unlocked manually. There is a noticeable run in the paint on the front passenger side upper wheel lip. Otherwise, the body appears clean. The interior is in very good condition. We have no personal knowledge of the vehicle's mechanical or maintenance history. Clarendon Hills is a small municipality approximately 30 minutes west of Chicago. We have sold many vehicles over the years on EBAY and have a perfect rating. We pride ourselves on honesty and integrity. This vehicle is described to the best of our knowledge. That being said, this is a USED vehicle and DOES NOT COME WITH A WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Bidders are strongly encouraged to come view the vehicle in person (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY). Upon auction end, the winning bidder must contact me within 24 hrs. If no contact is made within 24 hrs, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next highest bidder or sell it otherwise. A non-refundable $200.00 USC deposit via PayPal must be made within 48 hrs of auction end, with the remaining balance due in cash upon vehicle pickup. We will not ship the vehicle, however you can arrange your own shipping/pickup if necessary.
