The 1989 Corvette introduced changes, the biggest being the introduction of the six speed manual transmission manufactured by ZF (Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen).Also the standard wheel and tire this year was the P275/40ZR17 tire and 17" wheel setup. A new "Selective Ride and Handling System" (RPO FX3) was only available with the manual transmissions and cars equipped with the RPO Z51 "Performance Handling" package, system offered three modes of driving: Tour, Sport and Performance. The six way powered sport seats were only available in cars optioned with Z51 package suspension included bilstein shocks sway bars performance GM exhaust oil cooler etc. 26,412 corvettes produced this is 1 of 1577 produced with this complete package, original flawless paint, beautiful original leather interior, car has been pampered and garage kept and covered since new. 68,00 original miles, runs and drives like a new car, recent radiator service ,new coolant, Mobil 1 full synthetic oil manual gear oil and differential service.
