2004 Mercedes Benz E320 Sport Wagon 3.2L V6 w/ 5 speed Tiptronic transmission. very low mileage of 83,000 miles. ad revision: 05/18/17 Contact me for service history / Carfax. Nicely optioned Mercedes E320 -- including: - 4Matic all wheel drive- memory seats- electric sunroof with sliding interior cover;- automatic climate control driver + passenger;- surround sound stereo system with multi-cd changer and Harman Kardon speaker system - auto dimming rear view mirror with garage door opener; - rollup sunscreens, rear door windows;- rubber floor mats and cargo mat I purchased this excellent Mercedes from a dealer in California, 3 years ago, with a mileage of ~70,900. I chose CA to avoid salt exposure (I've continued to avoid winter road salting). Prior to purchase, I then had it inspected by Mercedes, and after shipment, fully inspected again and maintenances caught up on. I've driven the vehicle approximate 13,000 miles over the past 3 years, thus the current mileage of ~83,000. As I live out in the country, the car has seen almost entirely highway use only during my ownership; no misuse, no racing, no heavy traffic idling. Condition Statement Condition is overall gorgeous and excellent with only very minor signs of use. No major accidents. No computer error codes except for one SRS code explained below. Engine runs perfectly. Vehicle drives perfectly. Interior is gorgeous and extremely clean. Air conditioning works. The flaws I'm aware of are: 1. SRS steering column harness. Needs a small wiring harness in the steering wheel column replaced (SRS light on for air bag). I have the part and Mercedes technical bulletin -- it's a known problem with these models. I'll might eventually find time to perform the repair if the car doesn't sell sooner.2. Driver door lock button sometimes doesn't go all the way down when remotely locking. 3. Parking brake pedal (just the pedal itself) sometimes tricky to disengage. Parking brake itself is ok.4. Headlight lenses could use a polishing / recoating of UV protectant.5. Outside mirrors could use new gaskets between mirror body and body -- deteriorating. 6. 3M clear film protection is on part of the hood, and front bumper, rear view mirrors, and A-pillars. This film is at the end of its life, and has becoming grainy and dirty. The paint underneath is pristine. The film really ought to be removed by a professional detailer, or -- with practice -- can be done with a blow dryer. Email me for closeup photos of the film. Highlights of work done under my care: - replaced both main and auxiliary batteries - replaced cabin filter - replaced water pump & idler- bleed braking system (Mercedes fluid) - replaced rear air springs (Arnott) - resealed engine valve cover breathers- replaced crank position sensor- replaced air pump air filter & air hoses- call me if you want to go over my service history in detail (receipt by receipt). While not a mechanic by trade, I've been working on cars my whole life, in later years restoring along with professionals several early Porsches and a few other classics. I'm a knowledgeable auto enthusiast but not a professional mechanic or bodyman..
