A very collectible and rare to see in states, 1947 Triumph Speed Twin. This motorcycle has a fresh rebuild on the motor and magneto. This motorcycle is arguably the best looking Triumph ever to come out of the factory. It has has all of classic pre-war styling, with the of the gauges in the gas tank, along with the post war improvemets on the telescoping front end. This combination was only available from 1946 through 1948. There aren't many of these machines available and even fewer that have the correct motor, frame, and phase one sheet metal. This motorcycle is engine number 47 5T 83494 and frame number TF11511. It even has the rare early model pre unit transmission with identification number TE 77071. The engine runs very strong. It is an older restoration and does have some chips and ware on the paint but is very presentable. It is a wonderful running and riding motor cycle that can be ridden with pride. It comes with a NY transferable registration. NY does not issues titles on pre 1972 vehicles.
