1973 Mustang Convertible in good, very drivable condition. This is a nice drive-able car that has been repaired and upgraded over the years but is not a show car. The interior is original other than the factory console I installed from another 1973 Mustang. I bought this vehicle in June, 2009 and have driven it on nice weather days over the past 8 years. It has been garaged while I've owned it. I have receipts dating back to 1982 and the original owner. The oldest receipt is from May 26, 1982 when the car had 37,919 miles on it. According to a receipt from February 6, 1984 there were 54,440 miles on the odometer at that time (32 years ago). That means it's seen about 1,300 miles a year since then. The last receipt I have with that owner's name is dated June 23, 1998. It has been well maintained over the years: - Receipts for regular maintenance of oil and filter changes, tune-ups, cooling system flushes, transmission filter changes and brake repairs over the years - The AC had repair work done replacing the compressor, clutch and receiver dryer in July, 1984 at approx 56,000 miles - Sport mirrors installed and miscellaneous body work / paint in November, 1983 by Ohio Mustang Connection - The heater motor was replace in Sept, 1984 at 60,000 miles - U joints replaced at 65,000 miles in April, 1985 - Water pump replaced at 65,000 miles in May, 1985 - Carb rebuild at approx 71,000 miles in May, 1986 - Rust repair on rocker panels and fenders and body paint in January, 1999 at 89,880 miles (6,000 miles ago) - new convertible top installed February, 1999 - power steering gearbox replaced May, 2004 at 93,310 miles - new brake master cylinder and brake booster, replaced 1 valve cover stud, and replaced valve cover gaskets in October, 2007 at 93,479 miles - new water pump again in November, 2007 - new top boot, vented gas cap, some finish chrome parts and interior finish parts, plus new gas tank, fuel lines, sending unit in June, 2010 - new washer switch, LED dash lights, trunk mats in August, 2010 - new alternator in October, 2010 - Front end stabilizer links, intake manifold gasket, distributor gasket, carb base plate gasket, valve cover gasket, another new steering gearbox, high-energy ignition module, transmission service - flush and filter, and other miscellaneous in March, 2011 at 94,347 miles - done by Golz Motors in Deerfield, IL - New brake pads in June, 2011 - new oil pump, sending unit, and oil pan gasket in March, 2012 contact me for more photos and videos of the car running and top going up and down.
