I am the original owner of this 2004 Volvo S60R. It has been a great car for me. Very reliable, good gas mileage, and great performance. This car was originally purchased in San Diego, Ca and has spent its entire life here in the land of the sun. Thus, there is of course no corrosion or rust of any kind. I recently spent about $3,000 on replacing all four struts and new tires, which only have approximately 5,000 miles on them. This car is equipped with Volvo's "4C" suspension, which uses an electronically adjustable strut. Everything works, all the electrics, etc. There are also no computer codes. Everything is clear. I recently replaced the two front ABS sensors and everything is working great. I would drive this car anywhere. The driver's seat is somewhat worn (pic included), The paint also has a few scratches, as would be expected with a 13 year old car. It also has some sun damage spots, shown in pics. Lastly, while the stereo sounds fantastic, sometimes going over bumps it will jump off a radio station or CD that is playing. On May-11-17 at 21:29:10 PDT, seller added the following information: One of the fog lights is broken. BTW, I stopped by an auto interiors place here in San Diego and they estimated $150 to fix the driver's seat.On May-11-17 at 22:56:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Car has a GROM Bluetooth adapter.. This GROM adapter also includes a cable for playing music and recharging the phone - but the port is for old iPhone connector (iPhone 4/5?) Does not fit the newer iPhone (6, etc). But at least you can play Bluetooth through the radio. The other day, I had the maps application on the iPhone giving me turn by turn directions through the stereo.On May-11-17 at 22:59:29 PDT, seller added the following information: The stitching for the leather on the dash is pulling apart.. You can see it above instrument cluster in one of the interior pics.On May-13-17 at 12:44:54 PDT, seller added the following information: A few questions keep coming up: I changed the timing belt and tensioner at ~100k. From the research I did, the water pump is good till 200k, so I didn't mess with it. I had a fuel rail pressure sensor go bad a couple years ago. I replaced that. The battery was original until last year I think. It was still working fine, but I had never heard of a battery lasting 12 years, so I replaced it to avoid being stranded. Bought an exact replacement battery from the dealer. I figured the quality must be there. The front control arm bushings and ball joints were replaced ~4-5 years ago by the dealer. That wasn't cheap :-) . Antifreeze was replaced with Volvo antifreeze maybe three years ago.
