This is a lovely classic BMW with the timeless Airhead Boxer twin engine. This bike runs beautifully, looks amazing, and gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes. With 19k miles, this machine is barely broken in with a very long life ahead. This 1979 model features a factory contact-free Bosch electronic ignition which makes it even lower maintenance than previous generations. The wheels are beautiful cast units with tubeless tires for even further simplification. The bodywork has been fully repainted with a lovely gloss two-tone color scheme which looks fantastic. The seat is a brand new unit from Texavina which is very durable and quite comfortable as well. This cycle has received a full tune-up this season including a valve adjustment, new battery, new intake manifold boots, replacement speedometer cable, fully rebuilt carburetors, new fuel hoses & other chassis adjustments. It should go without saying that this cycle also has fresh oil, new spark plugs, and good tires. All of the components and controls are working nicely.
