This auction is for a late 1931 Ford Model A woody wagon or as some refer to as a depot hack. Belonged to an older gentleman who was a professional cabinet maker . From what I understand he got this car many years ago when the back body needed a complete resto so the back portion was all done by hand, cleaned up the rest of the car and always enjoyed takeing it to car shows, special auto functions and local parades.He passed away a few years ago and the car was put in storage until recently. The motor was sent out and totally rebuilt with insert bearings. 2 front tires are new , the other 3 have good tread but have checking. The car runs drives and handles excellant. Steering is nice and tight. The car is all Henry Ford steel of course with the exception of the back body. Tail gate does open. All doors open , close and latch properly . We have all the side curtains which will be included. Have the original crank and jack. Generator was replaced with an alternator for better chargeing. Directionals were added for safety. All top material is in great shape no leaks. This is not a show car, this is a nice driver friendly Model A that you can enjoy and have fun with use it as a daily driver through out the spring summer and fall months or take the grandkids out for an icecream.FRONT PLATE NOT INCLUDED. We have a current registration and proper dealer paper work for a smooth transaction.We require a $500 dollar non refundable deposit at the close of auction and balance to be paid within 3 days if auctions end.
