This 1963 Studebaker Hawk is a solid vehicle. Mechanically, hums like a kitten and is always ready to go. The dual glass packs provide excellent breathing and deep throaty sound. The vehicle comes equipped with new power brakes throughout, including master cylinder. Power steering has been completely restored back to new condition. The new Edelbrock four barrel carburetor is a look a like of the original Carter (provided). New Vintage Air Conditioning was installed during the fall of 2016 and will freeze you out. Interior is cloth and vinyl and is in great condition as is the carpet and Studebaker mats. I added a cup holder in front of the console. Installed a new ignition switch, factory original and door locks have been matched to the ignition. The engine is a 289ci with a 3 speed automatic transmission and has a twin traction rear axle. I will include a copy of the original factory invoice. All instruments work except the clock. Radio was rebuilt and an FM modulator and audio jack for Ipod sounds. Tires are three years old and match the original size, less than 1000 miles. Body and paint are considered to be good for the age, but not a show car condition. No rust appears underneath, one or two places where bubble paint may indicate surface rust. Transmission has been sealed, except for front seal, small leak. All belts and hoses are new, dual point distributor, Avanti style. Miles on the speedometer cannot be verified as true, however the vehicle is very tight and no rattles.
