for sale is my 1964 triumph tiger cub, 200 c.c., 4 speed project... i am calling this a project since it will take some work to get it running right .....it has spark and will run with the timing advanced way past where it should be ( cam timing ??? )...runs, till it gets hot then dies and will not restart till it cools down, that is where i left it a year ago....other projects and schedule tell me that i will not be getting to this any time soon....i did a paint and polish restoration on it, with new rubber ( tires, gators, knee pads, foot pegs, seat cover )...chrome is fair, bad spots have been touched up with paint....one fork tube is bent...there are a few small dents in top of gas tank...headlights / brake lights are not wired up...leaks a little oil...speedo has no cable...this is the ss model , vin # t20ss93xxx and has the ball bearings on both crank ends.....bearings and bushings seem o.k. as does compression...oil pump moves oil thru system as it should ... it shifts thru gears , clutch works and brakes work....inside of tank has surface rust, i would do a liner on it ( like red coat ) ...what you see is what you get, minus old mo. license plate...the pictures tell the rest of the story.....i have an old, clear missouri title dated 1969 on it, signed off by the owner on the back and all other lines left blank ( ready for you to fill in the blanks to transfer ownership if you wish to title it ...i never titled it in my name).......all shipping costs and arrangements are the buyers.....a $200.00 paypal deposit is required within 24 hours of purchase, balance to be within one week after purchase... bike and title will not be released until all funds have cleared my bank ( wire transfer is quickest and checks are very slow to clear )...a note to scammers : go away, i know your games....all buyers are welcome, both domestic and international...if in missouri, you are welcome to come and look at it first....ask questions before you buy it, i will get back to you quickly ...this could be a nice vintage ride to someone with the right mechanical skills... thanks
