I bought this truck 13 years ago on eBay and it has only left me stranded twice. Once was a cam position sensor that was replaced under warranty. Even the factory batteries made it till 2013! Over the years, aside from general maintenance, I've replaced alternator, belt tensioner, water pump, brake calipers, etc. Years ago the auto locking hubs were changed to manual lockers. Interior is in good shape with a few stains, front seats have been covered from 2004 till today. With only a 138k miles on the 7.3 I'd trust the truck to drive cross country but the rust has taken over the truck. Bed fenders are gone as is the tailgate, cab corners & rockers. I've decided to replace it instead of repairing the rust. Would be a good work truck/plow, fun father/son project for a kids first truck, or using the 7.3 & axles to build something cool! Has goose neck ball in bed but I've never used it, will probably require a little effort to get it usable. After market radio with Bluetooth & remote. A/C blows cold.
