Vehicle Detail

1965 Mustang Fastback / Shelby Clone. Runs and drives beautifully. Not a best-of-show car but a head turner wherever it is driven. It was a R Model clone and I was in the process of converting it to a 1966 carryover version of the GT 350. The side scoops and ducting are not installed and come with the car. I also have a partial side window kit that is included which includes the cut sail panels. Also, the 1966 style grill supports are included. The 1965 GT dash has been installed already and the over-the-counter wood steering wheel for 1966 has been installed as well. Engine: 289 +.030 with old school TRW forged, domed pistons. Balanced rotating assembly. Aftermarket rods with 3/8" ARP rod bolts. Comp Cams 292H camshaft kit. E7TE heads that were ported and have stainless stock size valves. Ford Motorsports bolt down rocker arms. ARP studded block. Windage tray. Canton 9qt, road race oil pan. Stock volume oil pump. Hooker headers. Cobra tall valve covers. Edelbrock Torkker 289 intake with 650 Holley DP carb. Mallory dual point distributor that has been converted to electronic. Drive Train: Rebuilt T5 5 speed with 2.76 first gear. Also has the .80 "European" 5th gear. Hurst shifter. Ford 9" rear end with 3.70:1 ratio. Detroit locker. Denny's chrome moly drive shaft. Brakes: Stock 1965 Mustang disc brakes with 4 piston calipers. Rear has the 10 x 2 1/2" drum brakes. Cobra Automotive dual master cylinder. Willwood portioning valve. All lines and hoses have been replaced. Suspension: Front control arms are new and have the 1" Arning Drop done to them. 1" front sway bar. Rear springs are new. Override traction bars. Real American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels. Any body panel that was rusted was either replaced or patched. There is a ton more stuff I'm sure I'm missing. Please ask questions. Some things that need work: The right door weather strip has not been glued on. The strip is included. The right door jams have not been painted. The dash has been cut up by a previous owner. A patch plate is included. Both side windows need their angle adjusted to fit onto the weatherstrip properly. I do have photos I took during restoration as well.
