Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE: 2001 BMW Z3 3.0l 5-Speed Manual with 61,595 MilesBeautiful 5-Speed Manual, Topaz Blue Exterior with Tan Leather Interior and Black Fabric TopSouthern Car, no Rust, Very Clean Throughout including UndercarriageFeatures include Heated Leather Seats, Dual Front and Side Airbags, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Power Windows, Door Locks, Power Top, AM/FM/CD/USB StereoOriginal Toolkit, Spare Tire, Owner's Manual and 2 KeysMechanically Restored with New Control Arms and Bushings, Cam Position Sensor, Both Seat Bushing Sets, All Fluids Changed. Detailed Service Records with Recent Service, Alignment and Inspection at BMW of Asheville 2001 marked the final iteration of the Z3 Roadster, and new this year was the 3.0l M54 engine, the most powerful non-M version available (at 231HP, the 3.0 is 47HP more than the 2.5, and 38HP more than the 2.8 available in 2000 and earlier). This car includes a new Stainless Steel Magnaflow Dual Exhaust which improves performance and sound. It sounds very muscular and is not too loud. The engine runs very strongly with tremendous low-end torque. This is a very fast, tight sports car. The 3.0l rivals the performance of the 2000 and earlier year M-Roadsters. The wheels are staggered with 225/45/ZR17 tires in front and massive 245/40/ZR17 tires in the rear. The tires are Brand New BF Goodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S. These are the stock wheel and tire sizes for the Z3 3.0l. In fact, the car is stock with the exception of the exhaust and radio, and everything is in correct working condition. The paint and interior are in good condition. The convertible top is the factory multi-layer fabric top, is water-tight and in excellent condition. The top part of the seat belt guide on the driver's seat is off; a new BMW replacement is included. The seat belts work correctly. The driver's side of the car has been resprayed, I'm guessing due to stone chips or scratches; this car has never been in any accidents. There is a hairline crack in the passenger door panel pocket and the beginning of a tear in the driver's seat where it meets the back. I have tried to show these details in the photos. Also, the valve cover gasket has begun to seep a little. The car does not burn any oil, and the engine and transmission oil are full synthetic. The car looks and drives great. Car comes with a matching Tan Tonneau Cover and a cloth BMW Rear Window Protector. This is a beautiful, fast, great handling convertible sports car. It is new enough to have all of the desirable amenities - Heated Leather Seats, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Power Windows, Locks and Top, Front and Side Driver and Passenger Airbags - yet is still a very reliable, purist 2-seat roadster. The list price in 2001 was $40,000.
