This is a 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8 in Plum Crazy Purple. This is number 027 of 300. At the last minute, Dodge decided to make the SRT8 in Purple that they did for the R/T's. This led to only 300 being produced as they had made 1,000 of the purple R/T's and didn't know how much paint they had left over. They left the grille and wing black to conserve paint and unlike the other SRT8's that the interior stitching was body color, this has the red stitching from the red Chargers since they didn't decide to make this color until the end. Jay Leno owns 001. This is a low number and I haven't seen many for sale. This was my wife's car and since we've owned it it has always been garage kept, not abused and only driven about 10 miles a day. Oil changed every 5,000 with Amsoil fully synthetic. Rear differential fluid changed at 30,000 miles. Vehicle currently has 56,249 miles. Oil was just changed at 55,000 miles along with cabin air filter and all fluids checked. Brakes were replaced at 30,378 and are Akebono and the brake fluid was changed out with high performance ATE Brake fluid at that time. All washers were replaced. The pedal is firm. New General GMAX tires in the original staggered setup were purchased from Discount Tire with transferrable road hazard warranty. Purchased at 49,698 miles so they only have 6,551 miles on them. Air pressure checked and maintained weekly. Exhaust is Zoomers fully polished system and it sounds great. Original exhaust is still available and new owner can pickup or I will ship Greyhound or UPS (no charge). Airbox was changed to a custom painted purple and numbered 027 to match the car. Original air box is also included in the sale. Rear emblem was changed to POW/MIA but original emblem is included and can be put back on after sale if new owner wishes. No spare tire, Dodge removed them to save weight and instead included basically a fix a flat type set up which is included and has never been used. Battery was changed out a few years ago and has no issues. Wheel locks were changed out to Gorilla and come with the lock and key. The originals tend to shift after multiple uses and can become rounded as they are chrome caps but they are included with the sale as well for originality sake. Windows were tinted. Just detailed professionally to include clay bar, sealant and two coats of wax. All recalls have been completed to include the latest airbag recall and dealership documentation comes with it. Also included is the original build sheets and documentation for the car for collectibility purposes. Car has no codes, no leaks, no squeals and starts, stops and drives as well as it did on day 1 of its life. Car has a couple door dings on passenger side as can be seen in the photo and one on the drivers side on the passenger door but I couldn't get it to come up in the photo's. The worst part of the car is the bottom of the front bumper, it has seen some curbs from parking by the previous owner. I have never had it repaired but was quoted by a dealership around $750 for repair. A small rock chip is on the rear window, passenger side and is shown in the photo's as well. The back of the bumper where the decklid meets has some small scratches. Interior is great, no tears in the upholstery and no stains. Leather conditioner has always been used. Never smoked in. I hate to see it go. Purchased this for my wife back in 2009 and it had around 9,000 miles on it. Our kids have grown and now have friends that want to ride with them so we went to a 3rd row SUV. I have kept the car for over a month but it is no being driven so I want it to go to someone who will appreciate it and its collectibility. Pictures show it in sunlight and shop light. Comes with both keys, manuals and original paperwork and navigation DVD. Also comes with the original floor mats and Weathertech floormats as well. For the listing purposes, the originals were put back in place but since we've owned it we have always used the weathertechs. They will be included with the sale. The trunk weathertech does not fit (they did not make one for the SRT8 with subwoofer, it curls up at the sub) but it works for protection. I live approximately 45 minutes outside of Atlanta and if buyer flies in I can pick them up at the airport in the vehicle and they can take it from there or they can come to the house.
