2001 Mercedes Benz R170 SLK 230 I DO NOT WANT TO SELL THIS CAR! But I am moving, & I need money for the closing costs & the moving expenses. This is a GREAT CAR. A lot of fun to drive. Everything in the car works 100%, just as it was when it was new. The previous owner did all of the scheduled maintenance at his local Mercedes Benz dealer, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY FOR THE LAST 11 YEARS! Anything that the previous owner felt needed the "Mercedes Benz Dealer Expertise," he did there. Such as replacing the struts, or fixing the convertible top. Which he did late last year, & paid $900 for! So, when I purchased the car it was perfect. Since I have another car, I do not even drive this car in the Winter. The car is in the garage. Never driven in the snow, because I purchased the car privately from a guy in Houston, Texas. (No snow in Houston) I truly wish I could keep the car, but moving is important. So hopefully, someday I can purchase another SLK. A very cool car. Now I will give you great news (For You, not me). Since I need to sell the car, I will offer it at an extremely reasonable transaction price. Many people are asking $5,750-$7,000. Since I need the money quickly, I will lose a bit of money. It will be more than a 20% discount from what it should sell for. Please check my feedback. I have been a member of eBay since 1999, with 100% positive feedback. Plus, I have purchased & sold a bunch of cars thru eBay. I have been very happy, & everybody that has purchased from me, has been very happy.
