Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!! 1970 Ford Mustang true fastback for sale. This is a rust-free Texas car! Many new updates to drivetrain, interior, brakes and exhaust. Car is equipped with a 351 Windsor engine which is not original to the car. It has a three speed manual transmission. Car runs and stops great. Has been sitting last couple years and could use some tune-up concerns addressed. EXTERIOR Paint is base/clear and has a great shine. Believe it to be Acapulco blue or very close. Not perfect having some chips and some visible sanding marks when up close but presents well. Hood stripes are painted on. All exterior chrome is in great shape including bumpers, door handles and other trim. Front and rear spoiler are in matte black. Car overall is straight as seen in photos. Small bubble on roof. INTERIOR Most of the interior is new. TMI professionally installed leather and suede seat covers front and back with bigger side bolsters. New headliner, door panels, package tray, carpet, kick panels, door sills, and window cranks. All fiberglass pieces repainted as well as doors and dash. Needs a radio. The dash pad has a plastic fitted cover over it. Texas sun cracked the original pad. Sun visors and steering column covers were installed after pictures. DRIVETRAIN Freshly rebuilt 351 Windsor with Edlebrock aluminum intake, Holley double pumper carb, new distributer, wires, full headers, and new dual exhaust. New gas tank too. New clutch, release bearing, resurfaced flywheel and new starter. Brand new Hurst shifter and new drive shaft. Not sure what gear it is but it is a Ford 9 inch rear end that was freshly rebuilt. This is an original A/C and power steering car but neither are hooked up. Control valve present and looks good. BRAKES AND WHEELS All new brake calipers, rotors, bearings, rear wheel cylinders, drums, shoes and springs. Stops as it should. New brake booster and new master cylinder. Newer 15" Magnum 500's. some surface pitting which polishes right off. BF Goodrich Radial TA's are new, 255/60/15 rear and 235/60/15 front. Slight tire rub on hard turning in front. Looks like lowering springs were used in front. Newer leaf springs in rear. UNDERCARRIAGE With a little bit of work the undercarriage could be show car quality. This car is very clean and every dollar invested to upgrade this car will be worth it because of its rust free body and undercarriage. There are little details left to do on this car. Our biggest battle on this car was electrical. Most everything is currently working but things like the blower motor need further investigation. This car does not have power steering, the add-on Mach 1 style fog lights are not hooked up. I took this car in only to flip it so I don't have a lot of experience with it. I have driven it and know it runs, drives and stops. I have a clean Ohio title on this car which matches the stamped window VIN. Buyer is responsible for shipping although I can help with locating a hauler. Car is sold in AS-IS condition. Recommend inspections BEFORE auction end. If you don't have any buying history on eBay please don't bid. I have sold several Mustangs on eBay with good feedback. Bid with confidence and Thanks for looking.
