For Sale is this 1950 Custom 3100 pickup.. California tags and title..It lived just a few miles from Steve Mcqueens home,Ojai Area, and was told me when I bought it that His pin striper did all the striping work..check out the dash and other areas..and that Gene Winfield did the Design and/ or Fabrication. A member of the International Inliners Club, It has a nice tight 235 CI inline six, ,Howard Cam,(not real radical though)Triple Carb setup with manual choke, Wayne Speed Equipment... Rocker and Tappet covers. It also has Air Conditioning, power Rack and Pinion steering with a Heidts style independent setup, Heavy front sway bar and all bushings and ball joints new. Has all 4 new shocks and Disc Brakes. Split manifold with dual exhaust.Has a Cunninham Pacific radiator with overflow bottle, 2 fans..the stock steel on and an electric with a custom radiator shroud. .Has a 5-speed manual GM gearbox with hydraulic clutch and 12 Bolt Rear end. She has been lowered as seen in Photos. Has a 1953 Belair steering wheel, Custom gauge setup, Tuck and roll upholstery, All chrome side window and windshield garnish moldings, cassette radio/stereo and Lots of Pin stripping. Check out the rear..upper Bed Rail jewel lights,blue dot tail lights and the chrome skull in the trailer hitch receiver lights up the Ruby eyes. Very cool. Has a nice tilt hard cover bed cover with hydraulic struts to cover the Oak bed that is in decent shape. This truck has been built and proven as an excellent driver and upgraded and maintained as necessary. She runs and sounds great.The body is Super straight..the paint is Older but good, any chips have been spotted in with a real good color match, it shines great as the photos show, and there is NO bubbling..NO evidence rust on this Dry Southern California Truck. The Chrome Grille and other chrome including bumpers are in excellent shape.. The Truck is now in the Portland Oregon area always garaged....otherwise it is been down So. Cal. all its life. She is an Historical Vehicle that exudes Americana..runs, drives and sounds great.excellent investment....
