Of utmost importance, of course, is that this truck is a forward-thinking genius... and only partially because it is a Boulder CO resident. It actually prefers to move forward and not so much in reverse. Yes, the transmission is getting a bit testy and could use a replacement, so it would be an ideal candidate for someone who is looking for a good deal wants to tackle such an endeavor (or pay a very affordable amount to have a warrantied, used tranny installed) to end up with a win-win scenario. It currently runs just fine in forward, and about half of the time just fine in reverse. Power on the uphill is a hint on the weak side at the moment. More facts: Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Plus tires (80,000 mile rated tires) which only have 30,000 miles on them and are in great shape. Shocks are still performing but are probably going to be candidates for replacement at some point. Very recently, we had the transmission fluid flushed and transmission conditioner added. At 174,527 miles, we had the distributor cap and rotor replaced and spark plugs/wires and air filter replaced. At 174,024 miles we had the engine cooling fan clutch replaced, engine degreased, and various hoses and clamps replaced. At 169,400 miles, we had the valve cover gaskets replaced, per steering pump replaced, muffler replaced, and blower motor replaced. Oil changes have been performed regularly.
