Here we have a 1965 Comet Project Car. Car has been in my possession for 7 years and has always been garaged. I bought this car to restore, however I have three vehicles in front of it and I will never get to it. The previous owner had started some resto. The front floorboards have been replaced. I find some rust on the passenger side wheelwell, however the previous owner had fabricated a new panel which is included, and needs to be installed. The body is straight with no major damage. The car is equipped with a set of Cragar SS chrome wheels. They look great and with some cleanup would look even better. The car comes with a 289 engine and C4 transmission, both of which are not original to the car. I took the motor apart and found it to be very clean. The crank had been ground .020 under and all journals look great. I have coated the crank with grease to prevent rust. the has a .040 overbore and the cylinders and pistons look fine. Included is the correct set of exhaust manifolds. I have the driveshaft, radiator, fan, shift linkage, flexplate with reinforcing ring and many other parts The only issue to report is that it is difficult to push, I would assume the brakes are a bit rusty. The car has a clean Oklahoma title. Vehicle is located in Ada, Oklahoma. I will assist the winning bidder on this end getting every thing loaded up.
