For sale is my 1997 Grand Cherokee Limited. I bought this car from a friend of mine in August 2016 . He purchased it in 2013 . I bought this Jeep to be my daily car (70 miles to work round trip)Currently 176,000 miles . 4.0L Inline 6 cylinder monster. Car needed some minor repairs , and some serious cleaning...-In August i replaced all four shocks , end links , rear control arm bushings and a starter.-In September i replaced front and read differential fluids with Jeep spec fluids.-In August , rims got fresh paint and 4 brand new AT tires were installed . I found a small transmission oil leak near the trans fluid cooler so i replaced the oil cooler and all rubber trans. lines.-In December i bough new headlights for the jeep and mounted nice LED fog lights. Technically car needs nothing at the moment. AWD system works excellent . Brakes are in decent shape . Looks like exhaust system was replaced few years ago . Jeep passed emission tests last year. THE GOOD:I invested over $1200 in parts into this jeep . Last month i took it to Eau Clair WI and i didn't have any issues . Cranks like a champ ( even in -25F ) . Doesn't burn any oil . It Gets solid 21 mpg while crusing @70mph on the hwy. Transfer case works excellent . Alignment is somehow good ( doesn't eat tires but pulls to the left a little) . Transmission shifts smoothly. Frame and floor is rust free.THE BAD: car is 19 years old . Typical rust on tail gate and rocker panels . Some dead steering but nothing crazy ( needs new pitman arm bushings ) . Front sway bar bushings need to be replace ( makes some noise on potholes) AC Doesnt Work . Front Leather seats are ripped (covered with fancy autozone seat covers) . Oh , and leaks oil from the valve cover gasket!I do have some parts that i will leave in the trunk like valve cover gasket, front end links , steering stabilizer shock , front and rear sway bar bushings , differential oil . And a brand new LED light bar if you want it .
