PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BELOW - I am trying to be as accurate as possible ***AS IS***** NO REFUNDS NO WARRANTIES Jeep with a story - selling this Jeep as a parts Jeep, very POSSIBLE driver with some work . 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 6 cylinder / automatic transmission / hard top /full doors / AC / Tires are good Jeep has only 91.378 miles on it This Jeep was used as a third car and for very light snowplowing of residential driveway ** The Jeep is experiencing rust issues on the rear frame in the usual Jeep Wrangler TJ places right above the rear tires. When I noticed this I did bring it to a body shop who reinforced the frame on both sides** Please see pictures of the repair , The repair was made using new steel to reinforce both sides behind the rear tires and it cost $1800 . The repair was made but please note you never know how long repairs like this last , therefore, I am selling as a parts Jeep. See pictures of repair The only rust I see on the body itself is about a 4 inch patch on the top of the passenger side fender. Up until this rust started to happen, where it needed to be repaired, the Jeep ran perfectly. The only issue I noticed was a slight exhaust rattle somewhere and I started to notice a red fluid leak that looked like transmission fluid. Upon further inspection, I noticed since the fluid was low, I tried filling it up and it leaked out faster than I was putting it in, it was leaking from what I believe to be the transmission cooling lines. If this is the case, the lines just need replacing. Transmission was fine up until this point. Jeep has been sitting about 6 months - starts right up with no issues, however , just recently the engine light does come on. Whoever buys this jeep must pick it up with a trailer or have it towed due to the transmission leak issue Pick up would be in Middletown New Jersey Jeep is being sold AS IS - No Warranty No Guarantee. AS IS condition I do not have the time or the money to either make this a driver or dissemble it part by part. Potential buyer can start the jeep up right away , starts and runs with no issue But test drive is not possible because of the transmission leak issue I am pretty sure that once the cooling line for the transmission is replaced everything would be fine with transmission but not guaranteeing that Buyer must come with either a trailer or tow away Will have a Odometer Mistake /Discrepency : Jeep has a clear title but please note that when it was transferred from my father in law to my mother in law, she wrote that it had 100,000 miles ( she basically guessed ) on it for whatever reason, so that is what the title says. Since I am selling as a parts Jeep, there is no reason to go back and have corrected.
